Overland Park Law enforcement Office spokesman John Lacy mentioned the girl was driving northbound on U.S. 69 Freeway and next the ramp to go eastbound on Interstate 435 when the accident happened.
“The motor vehicle struck a guard rail, went down an embankment and the driver was ejected,” Lacy mentioned. “At that point, the car or truck arrived to rest on the cloverleaf ramp from eastbound I-435 to northbound 69.”
Lacy claims many motorists stopped immediately after witnessing the crash. One tried to support the girl, but there was absolutely nothing they could do.
The Overland Park Law enforcement Department’s Targeted traffic Safety Device and the Johnson County Medical Examiner’s Officer are investigating the crash. Lacy suggests they have discovered the girl and are functioning on earning the correct notifications in advance of releasing her name.
The ramp from northbound U.S. 69 to eastbound I-435 and the ramp from eastbound I-435 to northbound U.S. 69 had been shut for quite a few hrs as the crash was investigated.
