Police car involved in crash in Narborough Road, Leicester – recap

Police were at the scene of a collision in Narborough Road in Leicester on Tuesday (June 1) which involved one car and a police car.

The emergency services were called at about 2.20pm to the area and had to close southbound Narborough Road from the Tesco supermarket.

Motorists were urged to avoid the area.

Leicester Area Traffic Control said in a tweet at 2.35pm: “Leicestershire Police are in attendance. Narborough Rd has been closed outbound from New Park Street. Congestion from King Richards Rd/West Bridge. Avoid the area if you can.”
